2023 Interactive installation and performance
ceramic shards, metal tables, Apres-Baschet-Soundsculpture and Speaker
Ceramic shards coming from the installation “lecken” (2022) were placed on two tables. And an Après-Baschet-Soundsculpture.
There were contact microphones on the metal table and the amplified sound could be heard through the speakers. Each shard has a specific frequency due to their weight and shape. Like a fading sequencer.
For the opening performance Theresa Hartmann played the Soundsculpture and worked with a looping station with several effects and digital modulations. After 10 minutes of improvising a cellist and a guitar player joined in a jam, reacting to each other’s rhythms and movements. During the exhibition people could play the sculpture by tipping and moving the ceramic shards.
